The Kart Shop at Buckmore Charity Race Team

On Monday 12th July The Henry Surtees Headway Kart Challenge took place at Buckmore Park with 33 teams of 5 drivers taking part in a race over 2hours 30minutes in order to raise money for The Headway Trust. The Kart Shop team comprised of Lee Jenner, Ben Cooper, Jack Saffery, Luke Hooper and Ollie Varney. The Team had a storming race taking second spot on the podium only 16 seconds behind the winners. A great day, good racing and more importantly a lot of money raised.

Oscar Thorpe and Jarvis Devon – Cadet – saw them start the final in P1 & P2, with both of them pulling away from the pack mid race. Hairpin 2 saw Jarvis spin leaving Oscar to take 1st place and a 'bereft' Jarvis 9th.

Next Race Team Weekend
29th July/1st August, Jack Saffery & Will Morris head off to Kartmasters at PF International in Lincolnshire.
31st July/1st August, Harry Hardy is off to Rissington.
